To promote the cultivation of international talent and enhance exchange and cooperation, Vice President for International Affairs Ku, Cheng-Yu of National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU), along with Dean of International Affairs Chang Yu-Wei, Chairs of the Department Tsai, Feng-Ming and Lan Kuo-Wei, and Director of the Alumni Services Center Wu Ying-Ying, as well as National Policy Advisor and President of the Alumni Association Lin Jian-Song, embarked on a nine-day visit to the United States from May 9 to 17. They visited two sister universities, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and University of Hawaii (UH). During the trip, they also met and exchanged ideas with members of the East Coast Alumni Association and the Hawaii Alumni Association. The delegation expressed their gratitude for the alumni’s warm hospitality and received a donation of one million New Taiwan Dollars from the alumni to support the development and advancement of the university’s initiatives.

為促進國際人才培育與交流合作,國立臺灣海洋大學國際副校長顧承宇於5月9日至17日偕同國際長張祐維、航管系主任蔡豐明、漁業系主任藍國瑋及校友服務中心主任吳瑩瑩等師長與校友總會總會長林見松國策顧問,進行為期9天的訪美行程,拜訪紐澤西理工學院(New Jersey Institute Of Technology, NJIT)與夏威夷大學(University of Hawaii, UH)兩所姊妹校,期間並與旅美美東校友會學長姐和夏威夷校友見面交流,感謝學長姐們熱情接待,並捐款新臺幣100萬元協助校務發展推動。
